Mahinga Kai is a regenerative farm in suburban Upper Hutt selling boxes of vegetables to local customers. We are spray free and actively encourage a diverse range of pollinators. We practice poly-cropping, make our own compost and provide employment opportunities and training for long-term unemployed. We also run community workshops. On the day we will have some of our vegetables and seedlings for sale, so make sure you bring some cash. We will also have our food cart open selling scones and barista made drinks plus a sausage sizzle. There will be some activities for the kids and informative tours for the adults.
