Westwood is a Family Farm, that has been in the Erskine Family since 1885 and is currently run by three siblings. Quinton, Anita & Eric Erskine. Quinton's children have grown up on the farm and his youngest Nicholas is keen to share this environment with others that haven't experienced farm life.

If visiting Westwood you'll get to see some coloured or white sheep, some Shorthorn Cattle, maybe even get up close to some of the friendly ones. See farm machinery up close and even sit in a tractor and meet two of the farm dogs. Have a go at spinning some wool or making hay pyramids!

A follow up day for any teenager that would like a more Hands On Day on the farm is sponsored by Te Putahitanga, Te Waipounamu. If you want to experience life on a farm, an expression of interest form will be available at the Open Farm Day. Follow up date for this is to be confirmed.
